From the RSL December 2 report to ASX: Page 2
"Results from the fluorite rock-chip samples that were re-analysed by Globe after recognition of Mount Muambe?s REO potential show highly anomalous heavy rare earths, with TREO up to 0.44% and HREO:TREO ratios averaging 50% with a peak of 70%. Importantly, the high value heavy rare earth dysprosium shows values ranging up to 168ppm Dy2O3".
Dy2O3 was listed (by Lynas) @ USD 305/kg FOB China as at 03/01/11 So a max of 168 ppm Dy2O3 equates to USD 52.24/tonne
So guys, don't get too excited about those Heavy Rare Earths just yet - rock chip samples don't forget.
