One last piece of unsolicited advice.

There is a bit of trading jargon that runs "Do not try to catch a falling knife" ... which means, when you want to achieve a better average price for the overall position wait until the SP stops falling.

The best time to buy a stock is when everybody else wants it. It is then you see the quickest profits. [The second best time to buy is when nobody else wants to buy .... yes, you might be getting a terrific bargain but usually it takes a very long time before others agree with you.]

Another bit of jargon is about trying to get the very best low price ... "people who try to pick bottoms often end up with smelly fingers"
