too true....SP. the new rating system allows anonymous characters the power to sledge a poster, where the rating is based on a perception of one's personality characteristics & not on the merits of a viewpoint or constructive argument.

conversely, a popular poster can get the thumbs up simply because anonymous holders of that stock are relieved that that poster actually bought in into their stock.

the system is a baloney to me mind.
