I think it comes down to this, the real reason we are angry, and for good reason:

The market was developed with the goal of being a somewhat level playing field (though I am intelligent enough to know it is not) where individuals and business could buy into and there for have an investment in a company.

The practice we have seen lately depends solely on the weight (or size of holding) that one has to play with. Now this is obviously not even playing the same game, let alone the same playing field.

I may be wrong here, though I believe there are laws in place within the American markets preventing such tactics. Legalities that restrict the amount of stock one can enter into the market as a sell on any one day's trading.
