Honestly DP, I have no idea.

Its not a stock I follow. I have no idea about the fundamentals and have only taken a cursory look at the technicals. On that basis I can't see any indication that an uptrend is forming.

It seems to me that the future of CNP is still to be determined. There's a lot of horse trading going on.

I don't hold myself out to be a fundamentals expert. I leave that to others.

If an uptrend in CNP does develop - it will be because some of the savviest investors around have done the number crunching on the fundamentals and have faith in the company.

They will start to buy - and the share price will go up.

CNP could be another Aristocrat Leisure or another QBE. I simply don't know.

But if that is to be the case, the trend will tell you. And if that is the case, buying in at $2 might be a sound investment. (I'm not suggesting that as a figure to buy in at - just a hypothetical figure.)

But until that trend develops - I wouldn't put money into CNP.

Just how I see it.
