I have been following the hedging as some qtrs revenue has been held back by the low priced hedges entered into back in September’23 …. 3000 tonnes @ $12,500.
Hillgrove then added more hedging in June ‘24.
In the September Qtr 2100 tonnes were delivered into … being the low priced $ 12,500 tonne.
No change in December ‘24.
In March 1050 tonnes of predominantly $12,500 hedges were delivered into and as per March Qtr Investor Call 1000 tonnes were rewritten at $15,400. Joe also stated most of the lower priced hedges have now been closed.
The investor call also indicated that the 1000 tonnes @ $15400 will be delivered into in the June Qtr, which is higher than the current copper price, so rather than being below the avg copper price as in the September and March Qtr we should outperform avg copper price providing improved revenue in the June Qtr.
