hedges aussie $$

Hi All,

Bit over the whole ASIC thing its old news and no great susprise I would think and doesn't effect the long term.

I am susprised by the lack of any follow up on Hedges being closed out though.
I wrote to Investor Services and as usual got back the standard reponse;
(In response to your hedging query, unfortunately it is not as simple as providing a rate or a price, as there are a number of contracts with different maturities and different forward rates. I would expect that we would update the market with our next results announcement on this level of detail.)

Given the Aussie has been floating between 92c & 93c now for near on a week and well past 90c for longer than that we have a problem in regards what price does the Aussie really need to get to.
I can't see any positive news now until we can an update from the company on hedges or we get to the AGM with some news on divi's going forward.
With no news can expect a great buying opportunity for those long term.
