Has anyone checked the numbers?
Marked to market, the hedges are out of the money by closer to $80m, aren't they? Why the need for only $40m?
Most of the money raised ($25m) is early exercise of existing options, so minimal dilution. I love it.
SP, not 'tens of millions' of dollars but 'hundreds of millions of dollars' transferred from shareholders to bankers. If memory serves correctly, RSG had 1m oz hedged 10 yrs ago. Thanks goodness for the new accounting rules...
But that's ancient history now, all behind us, onwards and upwards from here pending continuation of last month's much improved production result at Syama.
