Hi Rowingboat, from what I can gather about half the hedge was repaid and the other was 'priced' with forward purchases. So they have full upside (and downside) to price movements.
Handy timing with a strong aussie dollar making gold in aussie terms still look quite attractive.
correction to my earlier post I used 65c in the formula, should be 60c, still gets around ~$1.43 as the theoretical price paid by the instos
