Just an added comment for those considering my second option... with that strategy if NCM SP fell below 31.50 between now and sep expiry, you'd either then have to purchase additional shares at $31.50 or use your Oct Put to offset it.. in the latter case you'd be left out of pocket and with no further downside insurance...

Of course, what we really want here is for the SP to not go below 31.50 between now and sep expiry (expire worthless) and be left with our 'cheap' insurance @ 31.50 for the Month of March..
