Think you got it all wrong!!! US$ drops, gold would likely increase and offset any benefit. It's a unwise strategy. If an old dog can't learn new tricks they will die in this market.

If worried about the US$, hedge the US$ not your gold. Big difference.

US$ is staying strong for some time due to all the unwinding of "creative" instruments all being settled in US$ etc etc.

I hold OGC but should have sold.
