Maybe I should have stayed more on the sidelines wrt other stocks also, however having experienced 1987 I believe those circumstances do not exist today, certainly not in the resource industries. Back then it was all a pack of cards waiting to fall, everything was borrowed in incestious circles. Profits were all only on paper and often just revaluation of their stake in similiar overleveraged companies. In contrast producing mining companies are generally debt free, accumulating cash, growing there businesses. America might crash, but "cheap" asia won't, and they"ll soak up any surplus materials the america can no longer afford.
Regardless looks like more pain before summer.
