Their cash cost was 1200usd for March quarter, so a margin of USD200 per oz. This cost will probably be same or higher despite higher recovery of sulphide at 80% level. Why? Oxide mining stops in May..lack of lower cost gold available to blend.June hedge is 70koz at average of 1239usd and 30koz of say market price of 1700usd, so will get realised price of 1377usd.
Key question: Can they get cash cost under 1377usd per oz?
