i am quite amused by thoughts that Pru would have institutional and board support to pay a dividend at this time. Buy backs (raise share price) get more aggressive in share for share exchanges and $$$ raised at higher levels and stop bloody hedging.
reminders ....this is close to a 2 billion dollar company in a sea of sharks....eat or be eaten. But merger of equals....cash raise.....ready for POG run with serious free cashflow......now real dividends.....but its way to early for a "surviour by the skin of its teeth" to distribute cash. 4-5 bucks.....then the 1.5 % dividend per quarter.....
long standing institional shareholders would rather exit a couple of bucks higher in next run up.
