No dramas OBH
I emailed the company today as I feel management needs to improve their shareholder engagement moving forward and think if anyone else is feeling the same way should do the same.
I find it strange that we are sitting near all time lows with a sub $10mill market cap, a processing plant paid for, high-grade resources and a financed path forward to be producing gold within 6months and have no interest from new investors while the gold price is at record highs and approaching AUD$3,700 per oz and our old PFS showing fantastic metrics at $3,000 per oz with an IRR of 110%.
Don't get me wrong I believe Roger, Tully and Decland have done a great job in progressing the project forward in a timely, cost-effective manner and are the right management team to progress Hill End into production but im starting to have an issue with the lack of provided timelines and the recent miss reporting, which I believe is reflected in the share price as the gold market and the project itself can't be to blame.
For example, the last 3 announcements, being, the progress update, mining lease renewals, and the signing of a US$10 million binding loan term sheet, were all released as non-price sensitive, which can only mean they are seen as neutral developments and not considered positive or new news, which is hard to believe considering the small $10 million market cap of the company and the major new information they all seemed to contain. 3 announcements in a row is a to and by not correctly reporting these developments as market/price sensitive I feel they don't get seen by the wider investment community and as such keeps VTX being discovered or updating new investors through normal news flows which is very important for a junior miner.
I highlighted to them most of the above and that we could probably use a new investor presentation as the last one on the ASX was published over 2 years ago.
Anyway, I might be wrong but improved investor engagement never hurts, happy to hear other's views on the above or why the current lack of market interest if any.
