Apart from all the bad information that stood out in the quarterly, one thing I found of interest was Alliander's first 100 units promotion.
On pg 2 of the Qtrly, the company state that last week (as Mapreader already posted), the first 100 units will be installed in the city of Heinsberg:
- in addition to the government feed-in tariff ($?)
- and State capital subsidy (NRW - $9k -13k)
Alliander will provide
- $4k upfront subsidy
- $5k worth of feed-in tariff over life of unit
(numbers in Euros obviously)
Now, simply with the capital subsidies, a purchaser can see anywhere from $13-17K of the cost covered, when you thrown in feed-in tariffs over the life of the unit, don't these units essentially become a zero cost equation for most small businesses? ie: free from a capital perspective. What are the units retailing for again? I thought around $21k.
It's only 100 units, but the Germans love a good energy scheme! Anyone from Germany here live in Heinsberg?
