For reasons as yet unknown, Afrox (Linde subsidiary) appear to have forfeited at least 1mmcf of helium. Renergen have elected to float it, via Argonon, into the spot market via auction.
There wasn't really an appropriate place to keep track of these developments, which indeed could see the phase 1 project flip from proof of concept to quite profitable, depending on the overall standing of the offtake. Current spot prices have at times been reported at 10x the agreed offtake price, though that will all become clearer once the auction has completed.
