I agree with what you are saying. Imagine if our management were to inform us that they have in fact commenced down this path and discussions were underway along the lines you suggest with various government bodies, and progress was promising.
While I don't expect management to inform shareholders of every discussion they have with regulatory bodies, some information would be better than the vacuum we live in.
