yep. Good old Malcolm. He’s not been a gp for a very long time so has little clinical credibility with HLS clinicians. His management experience isn’t sufficient to turn around this behemoth financially either. So lose lose is the outcome.
Why is Malcolm then still in charge? Probably cos no mug with an existing career would touch this job with a 10 foot barge pole. Career suicide. Fine if you’re a semi retiree like Malcom but not great if you need another job afterwards.
Doctors are disengaged and becoming more so with HLs. The white elephants are sitting empty. The fear of old man Ed doesn’t keep them in line any more. Simply put, the house of cards is falling. Ding dong. Long live the king.
