Didn't help the situation by us taxpayers subsidising imported cars by allowing the FBT lurk on imported cars so mummy could pick up kids from school and kinder in a shiny new BMW.
Abbott not going ahead with winding back the lurk so it will apply to 100% imported cars very soon.
Reverse tariffs, who would have thought?
