The irony is that the complete opposite is true. The board did it all by themselves.
In reality a 5.4c raise would have been more than fair. We were all buying this at 3c - 4c on exactly the same fundamentals only a few days before. The board got caught up in the euphoria of the spike, while Ms T, utilising her "risk management and corporate expertise" that she brought to the board saw it for what it was.
Folks can learn from it or use it as an emotional crutch for their losses, whatever, but it is probably time to move on and consider future sources of funding instead.
