An interesting article...on the one hand there is scope for higher bid, and on the other hand, this is as good as it gets.

Seems that the debt issues/convertible notes reduce the chances of others getting involved.

Will be interesting to see whether Orbis, Legg Mason & Co will agitate for a higher offer, or will they hit the exit door like BT/Westpac.
