I do not doubt that one day Mount Kare will be a major goldmining operation, but the cost of setting up the project into production is mind boggling. Its 5000m up a mountain, no roads in or out, incredible rainfall, even the two native tribes in the area did not live anywhere near the slopes of the mountain. It will be many years down the track before mining ops begin and even further down the track to recieve a return on investment.
