Just can't see it being Blackspur (Brooks and Thoresby), they were not up for sale and if anyone wanted those then it would effectively be a takeover bid and not a sale as stated in the Ann. This has to be Montney/Tommy Lakes and I am guessing the testing program and change of agent has an impact.
The issue will be whether it is an opportunistic low-ball offer or something more befitting the real value (whatever that is). Here's hoping for the latter but given the negotiations I suspect it was low-ball. I recall earlier assessments on this forum had the Monteny valued at around 6c per share, back when the SP was at 20c and before the testing was done. Not sure what would be fair value today.
