Thought l'd post just to keep this forum to a least a crocodiles winter heartbeat.

Although we are sick of waiting for the FDA and its now approaching 2 years since they filed for final approval, l've been listening to their webcasts and progress is excellent. Around 2500 hvad's implanted now and quarterley sales of over 300 units mainly in Europe, trials for the mvad will commence soon and progress is being made with the transcutaneous power delivery project.

When approval finally arrives Thoratec will be in for a shock when their market domination disappears. Just hurry up FDA.
