Howdy - I myself have not used the system on individual stocks, so not sure if it works. However, I only trade indices as the system works best with volume. I took a quick look at RIO and see that it does gap at the open and retraces, and the arrow would have got a couple of big moves, but more often than not they appeared to be rather whippy. The chart below is RIO. Cheers
