Konigs son in law and BDM of Ecopropp, Jared Clissold, is in the Supreme Court to find out what jail sentence may be awaiting him. He was previously charged with importing and trafficking cannabis as per the article below from last year.

Brisbane man jailed for killing woman in drunken smah back in court on drug charges
A CASH-STRAPPED Brisbane family man who was jailed for killing a Sunshine Coast woman in a head-on smash while drunk has reappeared more than a decade later with a new name and facing the prospect of life in prison for allegedly smuggling drugs into Queensland.
Jared Joseph Clissold, 37, from Bulimba, was charged with importing and trafficking cannabis on July 27, just hours after he allegedly tried to buy a “compressed petrol tank” from a scrap-metal provider in Brisbane’s south.
Police allege the tank was filled with 7kg of cannabis and was imported from Papua New Guinea between May and July, arriving in Brisbane on July 2.
Clissold allegedly told the scrap dealer he needed to buy the tank “because it contained ‘weed’ and he needed the money urgently”. He later allegedly admitted he was in the business of trafficking cannabis.
Details of the charges and of Clissold’s criminal history were revealed on September 14 in the Supreme Court in Brisbane, where he was granted bail with a $50,000 surety after spending 50 days in prison on remand.
Clissold, who shares an $850-a-week Bulimba rental with his midwife wife, Jessica, and 18-month-old son, was living in PNG and working in the scrap-metal export industry for eight months until he was “fired” in May, police allege.
He is alleged to have told police he had a “business plan” with an unnamed Asian man based in Brisbane to smuggle cannabis from PNG in Clissold’s shipping containers.
He told police he had “been struggling financially since the start of 2018, with a lifestyle that exceeds his income”.
Police also allege that text messages found on his phone identify his “role in importing cannabis” from PNG.
He allegedly offered the scrap-metal dealer a $1000 bribe on July 27 to let him take the tank before it had cleared Customs. The dealer declined and called police.
Police allege that just hours before his arrest, Clissold sent a message to the dealer pleading, “I don’t need jail to further destroy my family” – a sign he “recognises” his actions are “illegal”, police claim.
Clissold, then named Jared Joseph Merrill, was jailed for 15 months in 2002 for killing Karen Jackson, 30, in a Buderim car crash on May 31, 2001, while almost two times over the alcohol limit, court documents state.
