4,000 amputations due to a non-healing diabetic wound per year in Australia - one every 20 seconds globally.

Thanks ccuyee1 and TDA For your comments. I would like to tackle big pharma head on but would not expect to win as in comparison we are amateurs so I suggest we run around them commander style.
Our primary justification is the misery being suffered by non and slow healing ulcers, 61000 at anyone time in the UK with 4000 in Aus and 6000 in UK resulting in amputations each year. This IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE DELAYS NOW BEING INTRODUCED.
Our second justification is the tax payer and govt savings in medical expenses.
The idea of including the diabetic people is excellent. Does anyone have a contact who would help?
We believe that based on the results of BSI a trial of say 10000 patients in Aus should begin IMMEDIATELY. This gives TGA a review point to consider progress. Patients could also be asked to sign a release form if this would help.
comments invited esp anyone with PR experience.
GL and thanks
