ppter, I can feel the first sign of the Butterfly Effect taking place …….

How to reach the 4000 would-be amputees and/or relatives, carers and to get them behind TIS?

    Sugestions (worthwhile repeating myself here):

    1. TIS prepare a Press Release (this is not an announcement to ASX), re-iterating the scientific, clinical successes achieved and important approvals granted so far. The final step is one of technicality. Lodge this with the proper Press Release channels (PR will tell you how). Then all the newspapers will get access to it. Some newspapers will no doubt sensationalise it (thank you).

    2. Liaise closely with organisations such as Diabetes Australia, making sure that they thoroughly know and want Vitro-gro.

    3. TIS advertise a “trial” where all patients will be given vitro-gro; no need for a placebo group as TIS has already proven itself. Each patient will be charged, say an average of $500 (that’s $2 million dollars per year). Will the 4000 people be interested if given all the impressive data? I believe they all will.

    4. What if there is opposition to this trial? Another Press Release in conjunction with Diabetes Australia will bring the full force of the media upon them. Heck, in this country, people will demonstrate in the street in support of some sick puppies let alone 4000 people who face amputation. Have a demo on steps of Parliament House. The PM will be afraid to oppose in an election year while the Treasurer will calculate the hospital savings. The Minister for Tourism will calculate the possibility of medical tourism After an Australian approval – about time Australia earns some medical tourist dollars in an ethical way. The Leader of the Opposition will also support as he can’t afford not to.

    5. Imagine the international publicity if there is a big demo in front of Parliament House because TIS is held up on technicality while thousands suffer. Other medical tourist countries like Mexico, Thailand, Singapore, etc will probably invite TIS to set up shops there. Best if Australia becomes a medical tourist country on the back of TIS. Think about this for a moment, if Australia is the ONLY country in the world to approve the use of Vitro-gro, the number of potential customers might be 10 or 20 times 4000 per year! That’s not so shabby. I know what I will do if I were the Minister for Tourism. I know what I will do if I were CEO of TIS.

    6. As I mentioned in my previous posts, consult a couple of cluey Gen-Ys for suggestions on leveraging the powers of mass media: Youtube, Twitters, etc
