I just ordered a paper copy of the prospectus today, because I might (not sure yet) buy some.
The rationale being I'll be keeping cash for a while (hopefully this bear market will not be too prolonged), and the CPS does pay better rates than online savings accounts/term deposits, regardless of how RBA moves the cash rate.
I think the main risk is whether ANZ will get a credit rating downgrade. If that occurs CPS can trade below 100. This is a problem if you want to be able to convert back to cash at anytime without capital loss.
Another risk is ANZ might stop one payment or two. But that means ordinary shareholders will not receive dividends either. Unthinkable at this stage.
