Here is my view.
I am dead against the teaching of one religion but don't mind the teaching of all the major religions. Comparitive religion classes are OK with me.
I support chaplains in schools so long as they don't prosthletyse.
And only if they get some basic training. As I have said on a previous occasion, I have spent some time helping out a chaplain and admire the work she does. There are many areas they can help out kids when a cousellor would be overkill. Parents separating, death in the family, bullying. The list goes on.
And I am an atheist!
