heraclitus,
you say,
Another interesting question. Of those who are actually the decision makers for kids, i.e. the 21-40 demographic, what percentage of these would want to see religious Ed in schools? I think it would be significant lower than the overall population
i say,
to quote your own words to prosperman,
Do you have any statistical evidence for the statement?
and.....
you ask,
Can I ask you something similar. Would you support and encourage your children if they came out as gay or a supporter of the Islam faith?
i say,
yes i would support them if they came out gay or Islamic, or even, and this is a big stretch, i'd even support them if they came out as........celebant Buddhists....because,
1, i'm not judge, that's God's job, "Judge not others, lest you yourself be judged"
i would train them in the law and what the law says is right and wrong, and after they hit a certain age, they are on their own with their walk with God. i should clarify, they will never be own their own with their walk with me.
Ephesians 6 4
And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord
proverbs 22 6
Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it
