Point is, many people are very cash poor right now after a shocking year in the markets - but have goods that are not needed...

Say I had a spare TV, single bed, chair, linen and crockery.
The money a family would have spent on those items can go to buying other things - new school uniforms, etc etc....

They have to start from ZERO......so REAL goods are actually very beneficial. They are coming out of homes that don't need them.

It's a way for people with little spare cash to help.

Probably costs $500 to get a truck from Bris to Melb for it to be delivered to salvos who can co ordinate the goods coming in. Would be many thousands of dollars worth of goods in each truck load.

    Think outside the box!
