my rellies were very very lucky-a few metres. their house is black, not sure about their livestock. but they are safe having escaped after fighting the embers for as long as possible. the weather has just been unbearable for the past few weeks down here, everything is dry and crisp dark yellow, the ground was like a frying pan, you wake up in a pool of sweat, it's been like a desert. then theres these ppl lighting fires. i hope they catch them and string them up to a pole in flinders st naked and set their hair on fire.
