My friend whose daughter was a community helper in Kinglake says the 'goods' will all be needed, but just need a distribution point. Many won't feel like doing much for a while - their lives could take years to be anywhere near normal again.
Of course cash is king - but you missed the point of the thread. I have no cash to give........same as many stock market 'victims' or 'losers' of the last year.
