AAaaaaargh! I bleed for you, mate. I used to have this old wooden bodied ute 50 years back, permanent crank handle on the front. Flat battery? No prob, one turn of the crank & brrrm.(Magneto, lol) Regret ever selling it, but had discovered fast cars & faster women, so it had to go. We should just go back to simpler vehicles. I still have an old 1988 Landcruiser HJ75. Instead of buying a new 4 x 4, I should spend $30k overhauling that & hopefully never look back. Cars with computers etc should be burnt. Got a Ford Territory for the wife. That's just been called in for a computer upgrade. Hate to be out in the sticks if the engine on that suddenly went quiet.
Or we should go back to horses. Yes,I know, fitting the required emission controls and mandatory carbon tax calculator could be a problem.....
