Larry's a good name for a dog. Then there's the old standard, 'Dwayne'. Dwayne's the way to go if you don't want him to grow up self-conscious and feeling different from other dogs. There was a great BBC comedy called 'Spaced', and the woman called her dog 'Colin'. Fairly quickly the dog appeared quite naturally as Colin.
