So mrs rebel uses the desktop in our office. Today when she turned on the computer (I think it was windows 7 or higher) it started in XP , saying the windows is not activated etc . I rang microsoft help line , it asked me to enter the numbers I see on the screen so I did, it then said ok add in these new numbers which I did, but it still came up with xp when re booted. I have no idea how it happened Mrs Rebel informed me this arvo.. She has a lot of info that now she cant access... Has anyone else encountered this ?
Driving me nuts trying to restore it back to even yesterday
