being a few time zones behind, it's not so late where I am, and since no one else has responded, here's my amateurish response.

1. What led you to invest in CVN?

Oil ! High value returns both short and long term. I've doubled my investment so far.

1. What impact might this oil discovery have on the Australian economy?

Since WA is the bread winner of Australia, it is likely to contribute further to the economy. However, the total size of the discovery is not yet known, so the full effect cannot yet be estimated.  In the best case scenario, it will become Australia's largest producing oil field, and this will create a new offshore oil boom, which will be measurable against the overall economy. Say 3% best case for the life of the field. More so for WA, not withstanding handouts.

1. Should CVN seek to become listed on another international stock exchange?

No, it is not necessary. The ASX casino is the best stock exchange in the world . Besides that, we'd prefer the foreign investment funds to come here, especially since they won't want to invest anywhere else. Our Steven Bradbury moment.

1. Should CVN remain focusing its operations in Australia or expand globally?

Australia. CVN's plate is full. There is still plenty of scope for further exploration in Australia, (apart from Tasmania). Dorado has proven that.

1. Does the Bedout Basin have any chance of becoming Australia’s top producer of oil/gas?

Absolutely. Because no one can categorically claim the contrary at this early stage.
