G'day,
I have a client with around 20 PCs running IE5 (and possibly a few IE5.5). They would like to upgrade them all to IE6.
Now, they could go through the Microsoft download process on each individual PC but at 20-25Mb per PC we are looking at 500Mb download in total - not to mention the "downtime".
Okay, so I thought - easy, I'll just download the file once and burn it onto a CD. It appears however that you can't really do it that way as MS have made it an "interactive download" - loading the correct components for your particular configuration.
So then I thought - Ok, I'll just order the CD from MS. But no - it states "US and Canada only".
There has to be a better way - and someone out there with an IQ greater than 74 that can tell me what it is.
TIA
