Clag,
BHP did a share split when merging with Billiton can't remember the ratio. Prior to that share split in the mid 1990's they issued bonus shares. For every 100 held you recieved 10 freebies (those were the good old days).
You should also have some Onesteel & Bluescope Steel shares courtisy of BHP spinning out these assets before the merger with Billiton.
Anything prior to those listed above no clue.
