some info on stock for arthur
Not a single T/A reply, looks like I will have to answer myself
I will list a few details that I have found ,but best you do your own research
Over the past few years the company has sold a lot of sectors that have been making the most losses
Stopped the dividend (they did not like that on the chart)
Looks like gearing has been reduced from 80% in 2000 down to 64% 2004
Interesting to look at the chart you can see the major tops and bottoms are in those years .
Also brought Boomerang Paper , a niche paper merchant ?
Had a Board of Director reshuffle
Last most recent report to ASX says recent sales are strong
And lots more
In my first post I posted the NTA as $1.33 from
Sandfords site which was wrong ,it was taken from 2003
Net Tangible Assets on the last prelim report is 83c
And the most important thing of all is it looks like it is trading at less than its NTA
CPI
Last +/- %.... Bid ..Ask. Open .High Low
64 +1 +1.6% ..63 .. 64 . 64 .....64 ..64
An audited report is due out soon which should have sales figures ,and if there are no other suprises that should please shareholders
