50sma: Simply if stock above it is bullish if below it is bearish. Stochastic: Measures cycle highs and lows. Do not enter unless they hook down or up depending on your setup. More favourable if overbought or oversold ie from 20 and 80 or 30 and 70 whichever your setup. Support and resistance which for me includes ascending descending triangles, flags, gaps and other chart patterns. A course I am working through says confirm entry on a timeframe 3x higher otherwise pass. Still working through that.
