help please! how to read report correctly?

Can anyone please help me to digest whether a report is positive or negative one? I'd really appreciate it.

Today the announcement came, what I read is full of write down, lost, etc, plus the market is weak, I thought it is going to drop, so I sold my parcel at 58c (which held from 56c), only see it rally 12%... sigh...

Meanwhile, some other reported record profits, just slightly lower than expected, then the price slides, why???
