    BlueBalls,

Think that you have posted in the wrong forum but, at the risk of being properly reprimanded by the Mods, I will offer a solution.

Find the folios/folders where your Metastock data is stored - typically named ASX_A_K and ASX_L_Z.

    Back up these folios.

Open ASX_A_K and go to the last file called "Lastday.dat" and open this with Microsoft Notepad. It should be 090904 Edit to read 090903

    Do the same with ASX-L_Z.

Down load your Metastock EOD files using what ever program you normally use. You should now find that your 090904 data is correct and you can discard the backup.

If not, the problem lies elsewhere.

I find it best not to run any other program when downloading Metastock EOD data and the most common source of corruption is automatic updates of Microsoft programmes ocurring at the same time.

Hope this helps and apologies to those who, as I do, prefer to see the ASX-General forum kept as a place for ASX stock related matters.

    TerryA
