help please.

As a novice, and reading all of your current and informative posts i am wondering if someone would kindly post information about "options", what they are and how do i can purchase them, i have a West online account but they dont seem to offer options. I purchased MKY shares in early November for .055c and am now enjoying the ride which i hope continues. Should i have been offered 'options' by the company itself? Thank you for any relpy and informaion about this area of Share ownership.
