Isn't it grand.
In the last few days we've had about 20 whistling ducks arrive and we haven't seen them for 18 months.
A large wedge tail eagle sat tall in the pine tree surveying his domain and the green tree frogs have been ear splitting.
Finches abound and the quails are scuttling about. We kept them alive by putting out shallow water trays wherever they were hanging out.
I'm hoping for a couple of good seasons back to back to put the people and the wildlife back on their feet.
