dude, Im not saying not to do what you are doing,in fact it is a good idea. Some others started, but BB was very vocal about any body making assumptions regarding his beloved MFS or using anything the baised press reported.
He preferred to wait until the dust settled.
Just point out what was said, thats all.
As to the 30 June 2007 satement balances, you will need to discount many of the values placed on assets at that time given the market for assets has detoriated.
This is i beleive the reason the statements have been delayed.
The board and the auditors are at loggerheads over values that the auditors signed off only 6 or so months ago. this is the 'descrepany' that will be the problem.
As to influence Scott has, i would have thought being a major shareholder along with friends he could put pressure on the board to make an announcement about statements ie why are they being delayed. given it is suspended makes no difference.
