Can anyone help with this question - where can we get the Aussie Volatility Index (code: xvi). I tried Comsec, ASX, Bell Direct websites but they don't have it.
Background: The VIX in the US has existed many years. But just last year around Sept 23 2010, the ASX is meant to launch the Australian version of VIX - even ASX website said so. The code is supposed to be XVI for the Aussie-VIX. VIX is called the Volatility Index, some people call it the Fear Index.
