You don't happen to be an equities research broker working for a company that recently cited (falsely I think) a forecast oversupply of lithium based on misinterpretations (I think) of an SQM production forecast announcement do you? Why mention SQM in particular in a cobalt explorer thread? If you haven't haven't done your homework for the morning meeting tomorrow I can't help you, sorry. Definitely agree there are plenty of other companies out there with MCs of less than 15bn to use as benchmarks for ultimate operational metrics. Your inquisitive desire to explore these details is fantastic, however I'm uncertain of your motives. I agree returns of anywhere between, say, 5% and 50% on capital could make any company viable, whether it's a fish shop, a mid-sized cobalt producer, or a monolithic multi-mineral conglomerate that gets scared of too much money flowing into starters and tries to grapple control of the market with BS-fuelled fear.
